Letter From Willie

I pray this letter finds you all blessed and full of God's Amazing Grace.

This is Willie Strickland Jr, owner and founder of Divine Fitness Ministries. I want to make this clear, Divine Fitness Ministries is God's Ministry, I'm just blessed that he chose me to run it. I have been a personal trainer since 2005, but officially since 2013. I was ordained as a minister in October of 2022. While in college I wanted to become a teacher and coach in a high school, so I could help be a spiritual influence on our young people. Today I am a teacher and a coach, but I am doing it in The Army of Christ.

Divine Fitness Ministries is a 501-C3 Non-Profit Organization. We provide a gym inside and outside with free weights and machines to workout with. We also provide food and water for a great physical workout and physical feeding. We also provide prayer and a weekly Bible Study (sometimes more than one) for a great physical and spiritual workout. The icing on the cake is everything here is free. There is no fee to workout or to eat. We live off prayers and donations.

We have been in our current location for three years now and we have grown tremendously. We have been blessed to lead over 260 people to Christ and baptize them since 2019. God has been truly blessing this ministry. Again, it is God's ministry, he chose me to run it, and I am truly thankful. We are very thankful to the City of Moody and the surrounding cities and churches in the area that have been a huge part of Divine Fitness Ministries with their donations financially, or food, or just giving their time to serve, clean and so on.

The goal is for Divine Fitness Ministries to grow in this area even more, and then spread across the State of Alabama, and then to the Southeast Region, and then across The Nation. Our country needs to hear The Gospel of Jesus Christ. I am more than willing to have a nation-wide revival start here in Moody Alabama. So lets get up and get out, and do what Christ has demanded us to do according to Matthew 28:19-20 "Go Therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, in the name of the son, and in the name of the Holy Spirit, and then teach them to observe all that I have commanded you and, lo, I am with you always even until the end of the age."

Now let us all go, and let God use us to make disciples and turn our nation back to God.
